Troll Come on troll...the special effects in Pearl Harbor alone made it better than the worst! The dog fighting was worth the price of admission...be it short. Go with War of the Roses...what?...oh...never mind.
TMoD:
Josh Hartnett: Bad. Teen idol = Suckwad actor. Ben Afflect: Really, really, bad. One word: Bennifer. Also, his character should suffer a particularly gruesome demise in every movie he is in. Alec Baldwin: He should stick to making crank calls to his children. His better days are long gone. Kate Beckinsale: Now that woman is sure easy on the eyes, but her acting ability when she is not shooting down vampires with Hugh Jackman and an automatic crossbow leaves a little bit to be desired.
Etc...
As for the special effects, I am all for really cool special effects and visuals, but the combination of lame dialogue and atrocious acting, was too much for me!
Also, another bad war movie just came to me, it was the Nick Cage movie about the Navajo code-talkers, I think it was called Windtalkers. Implausible plot and the war sequence on Iwo Jima was horrifically bad. I did not even make it to the end of that movie, if memory serves me correctly (I blocked out a lot of that bad experience). Made me want to load up Saving Private Ryan or A Bridge Too Far in the DVD player.
BTW, how did the grad party go?
