My (rather obscure) quote was actually refering to Philip K Dick (author of the books/short stories that the films Blade Runner, A Scanner Darkly, Minority Report, Total Recall etc were based on) made regarding a religious/drug induced experience he had which affected his life and writing for the last years of his life.
He believed that the modern world was a fake a thin veneer over the 'real' world in which the Roman Empire was still in existance. The man was a genius, admittedly a severly screwed up/drug damaged one, who's major theme in his writing was the search for the meaning of being truly human (rather than just appearing so) and as such the android is seen as a figure of fear being mechanical able to pass as human but without the ability to feel empathy.
It's from one of his earlier short stories (Human Is) that I take my nickname) in the story a cold, uncaring bully of a man is possesed by an ancient being from the planet Rexor (hence 'Rexorian') and his wife is asked to confirm the changes in her husband since his return, however as this new being is kind, considerate more 'human' than before she insists nothing is wrong and that her husband is the same 'person' as before. Humanity is a much a state of mind as a pyshical being.
Apologies for the long rambling rant

but the quote just seemed appropriate at the time

and I would urge anyone to check out this amazing writer if you get the chance.
All the best Rex
