how many of us have been driven into sheer madness by this said person ? He seems to know every move in advance
You need to watch out for his buddy Killer1 as well. That guy lives up to his alias. Even scotireb gets frustrated by him on a regular basis.
ahhhh...Killer is good...but not THAT good...
i have finished three games with him and true he did win all three...i survived in two of them, having fought him in inferior planes...Camel vs D7 and
Spad 17 ve Pfalz D12...his D12 was in bad condition when he tucked his tail between his legs and run for the airfield...i wouldnt blame him since his plane was almost dead and i would have run too...his D7 ran out of gas and i wasnt able to close fast enough before he escaped
i will be happy to take him on again anytime and expect to beat him

"Mind reading" comes with playing the game. Having someone's tail and previous speed knowledge leads to educated guesses. How many times does a newer player do a 27s2 when you have both previously done a 2s1 in a 1 vs 1? The answer is 99% of the time - and if you have stalled - well, that's a zero hex shot.
Both players you mentioned are very good players. You also can't just judge someone's play based on the number of games they have played here - many are experienced from the board game or miniatures. If I remember correctly, killer1 is one of those.
I agree that Killer1 run away towards the latter part of a game when the fuel is low or his plane damaged; that is the smart thing to do if you have the upper hand in points. If you have more points when you can retire with honor, you win (at least according to the rules). A former board/war game buddy of mine used this line a lot: "Those who fight and run away, lives to fight another day."
