A WW2 game would be excellent. However, I think the trick would be to keep it very simple - I play a Battle of Britain version of Blue Max by simply using existing WW1 templates for WW2 aircraft with some minor modifications to the charts and rules.
I used the Snipe chart as a basis for the Spitfire and 109 and worked backwards, taking manoevre options away for lesser agile/quick aircraft.
It's far easier than you think. However, with all the new programming etc I think it would be too big as a project for our webmasters at the moment.
One advantage would be that with no licence restrictions the sky would be the limit as far as options go |
