| Message text C&B, I sympathise with your suspicions - although most chaps are basically decent, some are not - and how can we ever tell (especially over the internet) who is honest and not?
Given statistical probability, it would seem likely a few players in Blue Max cheat.
But I think you should have stuck to your first statement of not naming names: calling a man's honour into question, even slightly, in public is really not a good idea (unless one has incontrovertable evidence). Personally, I would suggest some sort of apology, though that's up to you, of course.
Lastly, although it's difficult, I recommend the policy of 'let them cheat'. The suspicion and stress caused by worrying about it, talking about it, etc. is simply not worth it; one hurts everyone, and as the majority of people are good enough, brave enough, to not cheat, and only a few are the cowards that feel the need to grasp greedily at victory irregardless of cost (not only to others, but in the long run to themselves [and this is a fact]), by brooding on suspicions one ends up not helping too much. That's my opinion anyway.
That said, it is good to bring it up once in a while in the hope that those who think about perhaps maybe possibly cheating will realise it's not worth it, and those that do cheat (although this is less likely [but possible]) will mend their ways.
And maybe that's all you were doing
