| | Message text I had the original version of both Ogre and GEV. Played both any number of times and eventually ended up selling both games on eBay a few years back. Wasn't the original publisher of Ogre et al called Microgames? Ogre was part of a series of "pocket" games, geared to low cost entertainment?
The games were Melee, Wizard, Ogre, Rivits, Deathtest and a few others. I enjoyed and played all of them extensively.
My favorite was Rivits. Can't tell you how many times I played that game. Myself and the other combatants created custom maps and rules for multi-player warfare. I still have my original copy of that game. Jackboppers Rule! Rocketboppers definitely had their role, though...
