i wont say its a bad idea in fact probably a good variable for a more complex game
Blue Max however is NOT a complex game and once again i will say...leave it alone
the appeal of Blue Max is its simplicity and fast pace once you start cluttering it up with variations, options and additional complexity you will end up spoiling it
I really like Blue Max as it stands, I just see the ideas category, and then I see the occassional rant from a player on the forum.
So I ask myself what might be a tweak to the game that might make the game stay essentially the same - but possibly fix something.
Or (as in this suggestion) what tweak might bring in an element of variation to the existing battle scenarios. I figure after a few hundred games of a particular scenario the most experienced players might find some of the games very similar.
Playing with this particular suggested feature might be rubbish, or it might not be.
I was just suggesting the option - if it turns out to be easy to code (perhaps by stealing a bit of code from another game) then people on the beta test site (which incidentally I don't know where to find) can decide whether it's fun/interesting or dull/broken/rubbish.
