Now if we were ever to open this game to earlier planes then the FE.2 or DH.1 are my absolute favourites. The former flew to the end of the war as an observation plane - and was the basis for some of the designs of my earliest model flying planes.

Either of the 2 will be interesting since we have an observer gun on the front.
Yeah, some interesting planes those. I'm not sure how damage allocation would be handled though, as those were pusher designs. I'm not sure you could logically assign engine/tail damage in the standard way, though I suppose you could overlook that for simplicity sake.

It is random as per a deflection shot as you have a chance of hitting either. The trick would be that all head-to-head damage would be fuselage

That might actually be another advantage, though given the German dual gun firepower advantage, not sure that's a match up I'd seek as an Allied pilot.

Perhaps it's because I'm mad - but that's why I would find it fun.
You have a single all round gun against dual fixed forward firing guns - but you have no chance of getting your engine shot off head to head and will be highly manoeuvrable.
Sounds like a fair fight to me

Interesting, perhaps if you listed a set of moves
that that plane could reasonably be expected to perform, and number of damage boxes for the various parts, then maybe Nick or someone might consider adding it. Would it use a 2s2 or a 2s1, how much fuel, etc ? Edward
