i am kind of wondering why the designer bothered to include it when there were so many other deserving aircraft
Many years ago I wondered the same thing, but I then found a reference that stated that the FW190 was based upon the design of the Siemens and it was therefore an influential plane in the history of the German Air Force.
I guessed that it was included for that reason but I never asked and I now cannot remember where I found that reference.
