That said, I have one minor small complaint and suggestion for future applications.
I share you appreciation of BlueDragon idea and, if you want, if I will meet him in person at this Wing of War tournament http://www.youplay.it/play/forum_showmessage.asp?msgid=41838 , I will offer him a drink for you too, since I will offer him one in my name anyway. Of course, in the tournament, I will seek to shoot him down as soon as possible! By all means - spend a few Euros on him in my name - I'll paypal you the amount later
Don't worry on when, we'll have the chance do it in person.
So far as Dcr's point, I think this is something that doesn't have to be a hardline approach.
If a few here and there join both sides - the fact that many of the more committed are adhering to one side over the other, will still produce a more desired result. That said, it is all honor system anyway.
I am sure the bluedragon made it such that you can join both sides, to simply keep the difficulty in tracking players to a minimum.
I think if players just start playing one side only - we don't even need a list. It will become apparent who is playing for which side. BlueDragon created a tournament in which each person can join at will. You can start as a German, then decide to stop playing German and switch to the Allied side and, in both sides perform at best. Then you can even fly both sides and see how long you keep flying with the same pilot. In short: he had a great idea, for which we give the honor he deserve, and we enjoy the fun he created. And let me remember to say that this has been made possible by the wish to keep playing together of Nicola (Nick), Guglielmo (FineTurno) and Roberto (FourthApache), that created this site. |
