If you go head-to-head against a similarly "afflicted" pilot, how can your theory hold water here?
I recently got shot down after being jammed for 11+ turns. It happens once in a while, but I also clear jams after a single turn many times too. Just as I didn't complain about the long jam, I don't complain about the short ones either. It's still more fun than work! If you generated 1 die roll every second for a year you would encounter a same result streak of 9+ 3 times on average. It is not uncommon for it to happen.
However I have noticed that if I am the last player on a number of games that I tend to draw the same chits for any damage I receive as the game turns advance. This leads me to believe that there may exist a stuck number situation in some cases.
The one example I remember is that in advancing the turn in about 20 games I ended up drawing lose 1 gun 7 games in a row. As soon as I had a game that the turn advanced and I didn't take damage I stopped drawing that chit. |
