| | Message text I had noticed the special damage whenever you get shot at. It seems to happen less than the jamming. I've also noticed my opponent seems to get red hits head on where I get blue hits or none. I would have to check, but jamming should only be a 30% chance IIRC. Unjamming should be a 50% chance, again IIRC. I have always wondered about computer generated die rolls. The program is simple, and I wrote one back when the Commodore 64 was the big thing. I intended to print out several pages of numbers from 1-6 and use them instead of die rolls, crossing them off as they were used. When I printed them out I had to toss them as they didn't seem to be random. It looked like the computer got "stuck" and would print out the same number several times in a row. I've been suspicious of comp generated random numbers ever since.
It might be worth taking a look at the program to make sure it is operating in a truly random manner. |
