Exactly. I can see temporary alliances forming off-line (as in Risk) as players team up to eliminate stronger players, only to turn on each other like a pack of wild dogs. Great fun!
It might be fun but it is not worthwhile of the time needed to change the code behind the game to make it work. There are other higher priority tasks like fixing the nasty bugs in WSIM then trying to create a free-for-all mode in Blue Max. I am not a big fan of any scenarios that takes more than 12 players, I'll play them once a while if the map is small though. The Blue Max here works fine the way it is.
