| Message text DVD, how long ?
Well I have been on the site for more than a year and a half and I STILL consider myself to be something of a new player, my spouse is here considerably longer and also considers herself to be a releatively new player. Many of the lads have considerably more time invested in the site and still do not feel the need to try and FIX the game. That is not to say that we don't all have opinions. The very existance of this forum is a reflection of that. Discussion of various opinions is one of the purposes of this forum and you will find that your thoughts are as welcome as those of anyone else. You will also find that most of us will bristle when it is implied that we are unreasonable or uninformed when we don't agree with one particular viewpoint.
I can understand that you feel you have a wealth of experience with your long history with the board game and you feel that your ideas are worthy of being adopted by the rest of us. I would suggest to you that pretty much ALL of us here have an equally long history with the game and that we have all tried various modifications and fixes within our own groups. I do not suggest that you have no right to make suggestions, certainly I say that you do. I do take exception when you suggest that we are being unreasonable when we seem unwilling or unable to see it YOUR way and all of us lay down before your inspired revelation.
