I am on the north side of Lake Ontario. Similar weather to litehoof except we are dealing with centimeters of snow and Celsius in temperature. The airport here has a humongous de-icing facility to handle these kind of things. Runway can be cleared in 15 minutes. I know the less snowy places like Seattle and Vancouver; this type of weather is paralyzing.
