I have lived in Seattle since the Fall of 1988, and I have never seen anything like this here - the "Storm of '09" began as most Seattle storms do, with a LOT of media hype but very little follow-through ;
The last report I heard from a Seattle's YouPlayer is that there there's -4F, that means that is itěs really cold, so it is better you keep inside, even since everything is said to be closed!
