As I always said, made the rules set an option similar to Murizio but with only one choice.

The experience rules can be applied if character system is introduced in BM.
So now we have user login and each user can create 2-5 pilots to use.
Also instead of the move plus a special move call parasuite, so the pilot can jump off the plane in case of emergency. In this case you can create a different sets of game play 
May be it is not a modification but a redesign of the system :P
If it is too much work that let go with it and stick to the original idea but made it an [option] instead
