Message text As stated in any other previous discussion about making changes in BM, I'm strongly against it.
I believe that the success of this game is because of its actual gameplay, so there is no real way of "making it better", but just infinite ways of "making it different".
Concerning this, I'll always keep in mind that the game we are playing, morally "belongs" to its creator, Phil Hall, who has been very kind on granting us the opportunity of playing his creation online. As such, I personally feel that what I can do to thank him, is leaving the game as much as possible as he made it.
Else, we could end up having a great number of "versions" that would share only the name with the original version...
...but this is, of course, only my personal opinion, and I will not stand up to say that all other players must not have the kind of rules they like most, provided the SkyMasters agree.
So, feel free to enjoy the kind of game you like much... but, for me, I'll stick with the "advanced rules" version, which IMO is the one nearest to original rules...
