I know who you are talking about. He bumped one of those ancient long thread up as well. Are you sure you don't have any issue with each other?
I don't think there was anything personal against you saltylog. I believe the bumper was trying more to bump down the b.s. threads than anything. Unfortunately, it really makes a mess of the Forum and causes some good threads to never be seen - like your thread and my thread on replacing players in games.
Being able to click on a expand/contract button on the threads would be real nice.
