Flying planes on opposing sides simultaneously is totally unacceptable under any circumstance.
Even in a 1vs1 game?

Absolutely. Take two planes with lots of fuel. Fly them around a lot only scoring in the blue chit range. Rack up LOTS of points. Decide if you want one alter ego to have a VERY high kill death ratio, or both to have 50/50 ratios. Then decide the same for win/loss ratio.
Obviously, playing against only yourself wont cause harm to others games. It causes extreme harm to the statistics pages. TX can say that the statistics should be taken with a large grain of salt, but we can analyze for ourselves how the statistics fail to tell the whole story. When people are flying against themselves it makes the statistics a mockery. Many people do enjoy the statistics, so those who call it pointless can just go on doing the "really important stuff" of playing an online simulation that uses chance to decide the outcome.
