OK good. Maybe its time for a short explanation as I'm sure I'm not the only one completely confusd by what is happening with this. Can we get a nuts and bolts type of description as in what we are to do and what to expect? Are they going to be passworded games like in the tourneys?
Sorry all of the e-mails about the campaign and the way it's working go to the squadron leaders. Whereas in the past I've created the games for the Cup Games and League games, I've passed that responsibility on to the squadron leaders (as there's some more number crunching I have to do now). The games should be passworded.
Basically, every month each squadron leader will pick some missions from a set list and this generates games. So, where an Allied squadron choose to defend a sector and a German squadron attack in that sector, it generates a game.
If a German squadron attacks an undefended sector then they automatically get the victory points and no game is generated.
If you're not a squadron leader you can pretty much sit back, relax, and when your squadron leader gives you a mission just enjoy it and try and shoot down the enemy. A key thing to remember though is that survival is a bit more important in this competition. You'll be fighting for the Allies or Germans first and foremost.
The system is, in a way, simple...except I would say it's still too complicated It's making the best of what we've got really, and I suppose it's ultimately an experiment!
The rules can be found here: http://www.chimpage.com/bluemax/campaignoverview.html
Hope that helps
