Your group all knew each other. You were friends. You appear to have been playing the game for the fun of it.
Many players on this site know a few other players. Are not necessarily friends, and while most of us play the game for the fun of it, I'd guess there are a significant number who have their own agendas. I appreciate your comments and position, but I just can't see where making those kinds of changes would make this a better game.
