I've been thinking about it, and I think you're right. It'd encourage people to stay and fight to the end, and as this is a tournament and not a campaign etc survival isn't the same sort of issue.
I think it'd have to be half-kills though.....as full kills would take away the achievement of fully shooting down an aircraft.
I may have missed part of this discussion, but how do you handle two squadron members or more hitting the same enemy for a kill? Is each one a full kill or portion there of?
