My meaning was, if you are playing a game and the sole pleasure you get from it is deriding your opponents, then it is a waste of time for all parties. The 'Bully' has no real interest in the game, he just wants to win. The people being attacked sure don't get much fun out of it, obviously. Therefore, the Bully could take his act elsewhere and have just as much enjoyment. Hence, the game played had no positive entertainment value to anyone. It was neutral to the Bully and negative to everyone else.
Now, if the Bully is eliminated and everyone else is in the game to enjoy playing with other poeple, having a jolly time, living in the moment, congratulate the winner, console the loser, then the game is a worthwhile pass time. This is what BM was meant to be and is to a great extent.
Basically, I agree with you. However, some poeple just find it necessary to muck it all up.
