RPGs are GAMES, Chess is a GAME. If someone gets 'totally pumped up' over shooting someone down in a game, where there is no reward other than your wasted time, IMHO, said person needs to get a life. I'm not saying this applies to anyone mentioned in this topic at all. I'm just supporting the notion that Blue Max is only a fudging game. But that's me. I find gloating over a victory or a win in a game to be unsportsmanlike, petty, rude, and quite uncivilized. But, since this is the 'net, and not real life, everyone is free to be an indignant self-serving jerk without any real retribution....... <sigh>
I have been described as such in the past, but I'm getting better. It's far more fun to make friends than to piss someone off or make them feel bad about themselves.
