| Message text It's an interesting topic...
On the one hand, German planes do have less fuel.
But on the other hand most only have 7 less than most Allied planes (The Focks have less, but then the D12 has more and the N28 less) and this shouldn't mean that the Allies are forced to fight 2 hexes from the German board edge.
The topic is complicated by the fact that it is not only loss of fuel that forces one to glide, but engine damage too. If most fighting takes place near the German edge, Allied pilots are at a big disadvantage if their engine gets shot up.
Also, most German planes are beter machines than their Allied equivalents.
All in all, meeting about half way seems pretty fair to me!
