Message text This has probably been brought up before, but the forum seems a little slow, so I'll ask it again.
In all my years of playing blue max, I played under the assumption that the board was the 'encounter zone' or, where the two sides 'spotted' one another. Maybe this is crazy, but the group I played with was deep into character development, so we played like live pilots, i.e., save your fellow squadron mate, save yourself, and whenever possible, KILL THE ENEMY.
What do you think of an Allied craft turning circles to draw the German over? How many think this is ethical? Allied usually had to cross the lines to attack the Germans.
So, if the Allied side shows no gumption to put up a fight, it seems they are playing by a different code of game conduct than I'm used to. Would it then be ethical for me to hang around and turn circles until the game ends without a shot being fired?
The other option is to stick by my code, finish the game, win/lose, live/die, then never join a game with those players again. This is probably how I'll do it as W/Ls or K/Ds don't matter a whole lot to me anyway. Need proof, look at my stats. So, what would y'all do?
