Hi Gamers,
I start this topic not long ago with my friends and find that the descrepancy could be so big!
Well for the following ranking, it could be quite obvious
1. Rookie/Beginner/Starter, Games less than 5
2. Novice, Finished Games > 10
However, for the following there is quite some arguments, I show my definition first. For level 4. If a user could win 3 times 3-player leagues (27 games and win), he still need to reach finished games >100 to say as a Expert
3. Advance, Finished Games > 100
4. Expert, Win in Leagues 3 times with Lv3 OR Finished Games >1000
What will be your definition
5. Master???
Some said with Finished Games > 10000. If that is the sense. Only the following player would be the Master of BM.
1 pokerguy 24783
2 scotireb 16918
3 dcr66 18426
4 brewk001 10148
How about finished games >1000 and kill dif >2000
1 pokerguy 6974
2 scotireb 6159
3 markrendl 3766
4 Gabriel Guerin 2825
5 Gladiatore 2814
6 Mongoose 2516
7 brewk001 2268
Funny thing is dcr66 he got kill difference of -745, does it means that he is not qualified as a master? let's examine in more details (sorry dcr66 taking you as an example

)
He played 18426, win 5691 achieved a 31% win rate of average pt 42. Not too bad? So what's wrong here?
Let's look further into details, did he played all in 1-1 and fighting all ACES? or did he like group play that makes his avg pt so low? The statistic page didn't give much info, so we look into the individual info.... Oh yes, Let's check his top 10 opp. Mongoose,
higheagle, markrendl, Deckard25, BlackJoke, Dominion,brewk001 , Spinal-Tap, scotireb, Mad_Bomber ... hm interestingly 3 out of his top 10 is the MASTER? Let's see specificly how he is against the other master, With Mongoose, out of the 476 played games, his win rate against Mongoose is 82: 166 around 1:2 odd. vs Markrendl is around 5:7, vs brewk001 is around 1:2..... To other expert is around 1:1 ...
hm..... well .... er.... I would said dcr66 would be a beginner MASTER then

enjoy the sky.
Cheers,

.
The problem with calculating any ranking system is the variety of games available within Blue Max. 1 V 1 could be Camel V Camel or Bristol V Halberstadt. You have to fly in two completely different ways to succeed so for a ranking system you would have to say that they are very different.
The number of games flown has nothing to do with mastery of the game as dcr66 proves.
Same as number of wins or number of enemies shot down. It is easier to get wins 1 V 1 but easier to claim a kill in 5 V 5.
Someone with a win ratio greater than 50% in the scenario I am playing.
