| Message text As I come up and pass my one-year "anniversary" on the site, I must thank the webmasters for many improvements.
And ask about one "bug" that has been here since I got started... the "dead observer" bug.
You know-- all fire is supposed to be simultaneous, so if you and I shoot at each other and you shoot me down, my shots for this turn still count.
Unless I am an observer. When the "observer dead" damage comes up, he is killed instantly. He does not shoot the turn he is killed on.
I'm not a programmer, so please excuse if I ask a bad question, but I know that this is not a "surprise,' so why is it not fixed?
The other day I had a wounded observer, who was not supposed to shoot for X# of turns keep on shooting. I was delighted. My opponents, who did not know he was wounded, were not delighted but at least did not know something was wrong. So we have more than one problem with observers, but the big one-- no simultaneous shooting for them-- has been there a long time. How come? |
