I just red this news about an air crash between two biplanes recreating a First World War dogfight: http://www.canada.com/national/nationalpost/news/story.html?id=6914b672-d419-4864-bf52-2aac7f50f3a5I feel very sorry for the accident victims, and this news made me think again about how hard should have been to fly with these planes during old times. Even moving around counters can give us a pale idea of the risks taken, so I really can't imagine what kind of men are needed to decide in a split second wether to stall or not, just in front of an enemy firing plane while another enemy plane is approaching. Just a thought I wanted to share. Fourth
To fly is always "only" a dream for Man until late 19 century.
Personally, I prefer the dogfight in WWI rather than WWII. Those fighting in WWI is really what we call the "ancient" Art of war in the sky. They are all like knights in the Middle Age. Carrying their lance (machine gun and bullets) and riding on their war-horse (plane) to fight for victory (fame, money, woman ) Very war-man-ship (if their is really such term), aka the samurai in Japan, JianKe in Ancient China, Monk in India, Ranger in the plain .... So romantic
Also news is that one of the Son of the Walmart Founder is found that while testing his new plane. It is always risk to try new thing, but without dream, what do we left??
