| Message text And for those who don't believe, let's look at a couple of the dopples.
Thud_Rocknuz has 22 active games. For the first 14 active games, he was NEVER in a game without spinabros, and in 12 of those "joined" the came right before or after spin-- or one of the other identified clones. Game 112821 is pretty amazing, as faux-thud is part of a 10 player game and 7 of the "players" are spin or id'd spin clones. Suddenly, after 14 games only with spin, faux-thud has joined 8 more, none of which have spin in them.
Sabeltkatten has 12 active games, 11 with spin AND at least one of the other identified clones.
fw190a has 42 active games, 19 of the first 20 were with spin. The first 3 of those were ONLY with spin, and then the last 16 start adding on extra clones, The last 22 have not had spin... that "rush to join other games" that is mentioned in the first note on this thread.
Grief_8 has 13 active games, with the first 12 being with spin. The first 4 were games that spin started and G8 was next to sign up in. He signed up right before or right after spin in 4 more, and as part of a sequence of nothing-but-clones in 3 more.
Redbaron 62, 40 active games, with spin in every one of the first 13 (and the last 27 without spin (and note the sequence of game numbers-- this one was signing up for every game offered for some times.
viking02, 37 active games, In every one of the first 20, it is with spin, mostly with others of the named clones above.
So these "players"suddenly went from an "exclusive" relationship to spin to suddenly-- in every case at game number 115XXX, which I figure is about the time this story is really exploding-- to suddenly signing up for a rash of games without spin.
And, keep in mind I'm only talking about records of "active" games. Where you can see the "first" games cited above, that means only the first games in the active sequence. In every case there are other games that these clones were involved in and one can safely bet their sign-up records were similar-- exclusive with spin (and exclusively being shot down by him). My only point in going over all this again is to point out the size of the problem... and I've only listed 6 of the clones. There were several others THAT WE KNOW ABOUT.
Since the "apology," the clones have suddenly stopped flying WITH spin, but they have not stopped flying, nor have they stopped flying WITH EACH OTHER, altho the pattern there is much less consistent than it used to be. As mentioned, you can find several cases where they joined 3 or 4 or 5 games in sequence, as tho they were signing up for any and every open game.
Why spend the time on this?
Because DBurke's point is that the "let's just forget about it and move on" concept is encouraging and supporting bad behavior. That the "bad behavior" is continuing and has never actually stopped. And that the "spin + clones' games are carrying on as tho no apology had ever been made.
It was a touching scene of folks lining up to say, "welcome back" with a virtual handshake. But did you check to see if your pockets had been picked after you shook his hand? |
