Message text I wish I had a wireless connection to the net so I could have enjoyed the lake, and the redwoods, and kept up on the goings on here.
I wish that the people who keep posting "get over it" type responses would get a clue. That type of response in any community, online or nationally, is what allows the really foolish things in the world to continue. Things need to be understood and resolved to the limited extent that humans can understand or resolve anything. If you are not up to it, you could consider that your value to your community might be in areas other than your ability to comment.
I wish we had just a couple more administrators of the quality already serving this site. We want so much of them, but unfortunately for us they apparently have lives(good for them though!).
I wish for an automated campaign so that I can join with a presumably trustworthy group of players and have my games self generate.
I wish people would get a clue. The responses in games and on the forum of the various copy cat pilots is laughable. YOU CAN CLICK ON A PILOTS NAME AND SEE WHAT GAMES THEY ARE IN. All of a sudden, 7 days ago they start joining games not with each other, they type responses in multiple languages, some are children with foul mouths, some not. If these pilots actually had "different personalities", it would have been obvious in their previous games. Why is it that spinabros is not only in virtually every game, but also joined them before the other pilots. Even when spinabros is the 4th, 5th, or 6th pilot to join, these "other players" dont seem to have ever joined first. I have kids, they say things like "let me create a game, do I have to play with you, I am going to get my friends to play this free game and play with them too" The "coincidences" are beyond the beyond. Anyone who thinks otherwise should definately only play games for fun, because they have limited potential for competitive success. Sorry to be a bit harsh to the decent people. I just really hate to see people taken advantage of outside of a game, or beyond what they think they are up against within a game. To let the abuser off lightly grates on my bones. Really, what is so complicated about a player creating multiple accounts to help themselves do better? Seems pretty straight forward to me. I would be SHOCKED if the present case was the only one. It is pretty sleazy to fly on opposite sides of the battle, but I bet quite a few players beleive it morally ok to play on the same side.
I wish that the players who were rightfully angered by how they were treated by other player/s had kept a civil tongue, so that the admins might not have felt the need to delete whole topics. Back to wish number one... I really miss not seeing how other players research into the "mess" came out. Thanks to all of the players who took the time to check out the situation and show that the most obvious answer was indeed the only one that could bear scrutiny.
Thanks in advance to the admins for fulfilling the previously unknown wish of being able to delete offensive postings instead of whole topics.
Dinner time! Didn't even have to wish for that.
Game on! |
