we had adverstising on youplay.it some years ago. We tested Google Ads and one of those network that reward you when someone buy something by clicking on a banner from your site.

In both cases we were deeply disappointed by the ridicolous amount of money earned. (For Google we earned 1$ for every 25 thousand page/view, the other was even worse)

So we decided to remove all kind of advertising since it was not worth the while. Maybe in a remote future we will reconsider our decision... maybe.
