not popups - banner ads, they don't need to be clicked to make money - though that does earn the site that hosts them slightly more money (but only if the person actually goes ahead to make a purchase or similar) - but having a banner ad for Amazon or similar - would mean that you could support youplay.it by clicking the amazon ad on the youplay page before you went to purchase anything you were already intending to purchase from amazon.
You play.it would get a few cents, not much but they add up over time
