| | Message text Now that observers can shoot, I was wondering if there is a limit on how much they can shoot. I think observers may be too strong otherwise because it is so much easier for them to get shots.
If the Blue Max ammunition rules as written are too difficult to do, I would like to see either:
1) A "-1" modifier applied to all shots by observer guns (and SE5a & Nieuport17) in addition to any deflection penalties or 2) A 10 shot limit for those guns. I think the rules give these guns 20 points of ammo each and if all shots are medium burts (2points each), that works out to 10 shots. It may be necessary to have shots wherethe fire value is 0 or less not count against this limit so that all the ammo doesn't get wasted on shots that have no chance of hitting. |
