p.s. One of the things that drives me *NUTS* about web sites is when designers are too busy getting in touch with how they feel, or the site owner thinks only of how good the design makes them feel, rather than either thinking about what design works best for the visitors. You know? The people who you want to give business to your company? Blue Max is actually not that bad. Much better compared to some of the low contrast crap that is out there, in all its designery glory.
This is a very handle tool for any of you who develop web sites:
http://juicystudio.com/services/luminositycontrastratio.phpAnalyses color contrast, brightness contrast, and for three different types of vision problems.
There is a downloadable version as well.
