Message text Hi gugliandalf, nice proposal, although it is quite complicated to fully implement it. To avoid endless games, we can try to use the 'End of Hostility' rule that is used in WS&IM that will end a game after 10 turns passed without anyone firing.
A quick and dirty solution could be to start with 4 or 5 times the default fuel. This will allow many player to forget about fuel consumption, avoiding endless games at the same time.
So, instead of the usual 35/45, every one will start with 150/200 fuel units.
This can easily be integrated with all the other options and is really easy to do.
