| Message text | I find the WSIM drifting rules to be much to arbitrary and frankly would rather see them dispensed with. Ships with sail boxes should not be drifting about out of control. Only dismasted ships should drift and then only for a random number of turns, not more than six, by which time even the most green crew of Spaniards should have improvised a sea anchor of some kind. |
