You need to know which turrets (size, weight and gun caliber) you are going to install before laying the keel and, more importantly, you usually do both at the same time to speed up construction  .
Seriously, I'd consider seniority to be equal to rank, as it tells user how long a player has been around, while some sort of "dangerousness" to represent the deadliness of a player.
