I find it much more satisfying to be shot down with a tail kill instead of the pilot killed or explosion chit. When we were running our big campaigns in 1/72nd scale we pulled the insta-kill chits out.
Well, I can't say I get any particular satisfaction from being shot down in ANY sort of fashion. At the same time, if I am doing the shooting down, then I rather like scoring a LOT of red chits on my opponent, but if one of them happens to be a PK or Explosion chit I still take the kill and pat myself on the back for a job well done.
