For each side 1 point is awarded if there is a player who scored 15% more points of all his mate.
so no possibility of awarding any player if they both score the same - I understand this way
... and I'd say that ALL here actually stands for EVERY OF
For each side 1 point is awarded if there is a player who scored 15% more points of all his mate.
I read it yesterday and totally missed the 15%. I skimmed down to the examples at the bottom, saw the Best Player gets 1 more point, looked up and saw something completely different than what is there now. My brain is a funny thing.
I agree with the every/each change.
I had a different problem with the wording. The way it is written you take the score of the team player with the second most points and multiply by 1.15 and if the team player with the most points has more then that amount he is Best Pilot.
Instead the program takes the highest team players score and multiplies by .85 and checks to see if it is higher then all other team players.
If the highest team player score is 100 and the second highest team player score is 86.
100*.85=85 86*1.15=98.9
So the way it is calculated the player with 100 points does not get awarded Best player, but if calculated the way it is stated that player would.
