Between Adolf_Hester, NazisCannotPlay, George_Rockwell, Jeffrey_Dahmer, and now ElwoodBlues, this site is rapidly deteriorating. However, these new users (well, probably 1 new user and 2 vets with new aliases) are really just the tip of the iceberg of not only what is coming, but who is already here.

For those who prefer the party analogy used in the flame war this week, it was less offensive to me to have some a-hole quietly come into the party than it was to watch a group of acquaintances goat him into acting like an a-hole and then start pummeling him without thought like an angry mob gone mad. When a group of people beat a driver to death for crashing into their group and killing one of their friends, they were just as guilty of murder, if not more so.

Sadly, I've seen enough of what this "party" is about and it's time for me to take extended leave from YouPlayIt. I do not wish to be part of a mob nor be amongst those of such a mentality.

I won't join anymore games (and with NazisCannotPlay running around joining games just to ruin them, what point would there be anyhow?) and as soon as my 30 remaining games are completed, my wife can be happier not having this distraction in my life for awhile.

I hope that after enough time away, I will miss this site enough to return (I know there are many pilots I will miss, pokerguy and my fellow Cats for starters) and actually enjoy it again. If the same hypocritical YPI police are around starting their flamewars though, it will be easy to stay away. I know that those who I feel spoil the "party" here are a minority of the users, but they are a very vocal and active (in the Forum at least) minority and you don't need to have too many people puking on your shoes before you realize it is time to head out and find a better hangout.
