I wholeheartedly agree with ksnake - much is lost with a dubbed film. Personally, I don't mind reading the bottom of a movie screen. The Akira Kurosawa films like Ran, for example, would be silly dubbed in English. The recent film, Pan's Labyrinth, is a another very good example. A tremendous film, english subtitles do nothing to diminish the movie.
In response to Tornade, I think she may be talking about a 1988 movie titled "The Beast".
