Templars, I've played it a little. I've played in two games where I felt I was pounding the snot out of the other player, only to have him flee, Yet I lost. Not sure why or how, but it's happened twice. I kind of gave up on it then.... Still, I'd be willing to learn... Be glad to assist you in any way. Its a great little battle game that takes little of your time if you want to keep it like that. Its a team game so most likely, you were part of a team effort that overall lost. You may well have pounded the guy but the team overall did not. As you play, the sailors you create advance and get better at their individual duties. You also gain access to better ships that are more rewarding to play.
Aiming early on is all auto, so no matter how new you are, you should get that pop or two in for the team effort. I can honestly say that I have not encountered a better game where true teamwork is required. And to remind all again, this is a free game.
Here is the main site:

This is an excellent site for additional information.

That so many sites exist for the game, speaks for itself so far as the interest and how higly regarded, the game is internationally. Interestingly enough, the game is quite popular with Louisiana, Hawaii, and Texas. I have met many guys from these states, particularly Louisiana.
Again, I am in a position to help new players with initial credits and setup. I will finally start my own squad and any and all members of Blue Max are welcome to join. Please, no forum antics while within the squad - we have a reputation to uphold as gentlemen hex gamers afterall. A little fighting feistyness, aka Tornade, is always welcome! Tornade is actually the Blue Max player who has played the most after myself. Doctor Falco and Jesmith29 are two others that have tried and played some. Again, let me know your handle Hans, and I will look for you during the evening hours. |
