Personally I think that the easy game is enough, and then, just remember when you introduced a new player to a game: you just explained it. Here, who is interested joins and keep playing, the ones that don't like quit.
I also like to challenge new players to unbalanced games. I think it gives them a fighting chance and when they do get a kill it creates more interest for them.
