Thanks - but what is the distinction of a non-repeatable manuever and a stall?? Why is it not repeatable? To me, that fits with the definition of a stall, and since it is non-repeatable, why is it that it isn't making you vulnerable to damage/shots like a stall?
Technically, let me repeat:
• Stalls: If you select one of the following moves, your plane will stall: [1S1], [1R1], [1L1]. A stalling plane is a very easy target (see the combat table).
• Non-repeatable manoeuvres: the manoeuvres in brackets are non-repeatable: [1S1], [1L1], [1R1], [28L2], [28R2], [31L2], [31R2], [36L2], [36R2]. You cannot choose two non-repeatables in a row.
I think the rationale for not being repeatable is that some manoeuvres make your plane lose lift. If you look close, all of those manoeuvres either involve stalling, or the plane moving almost perpendicularly with respect to its axis (think of 31's and 36's!). Both things make the plane lose lift, but for very different reasons. If you were to try and make two of those manoeuvres in a row, you would spin (this is what Canvas Eagles assumes, for example).
The reason for the bonus on the combat table is different. When stalling, your plane is really an easy target. But with all the other no-repeats, the plane is moving a lot, so there is no reason why the bonus should be given.
hope this helps
