We do Blue Max with 1/144 scale miniatures with antennaes for the height. Much better than WOW will ever be. Try a game of 16 - 20 players all with their own plane painted up in a favorite scheme trying to shoot down the enemy and still make it off the table alive.. Yes the WOW planes are cool but I believe the original will still be a lot better.

I've read today an article on Boardgamegeek.com about Fantasy Flight Games releasing a new range of plastic miniatures for Wings Of War.
Moreover, each plane will be supplied with a flight stand allowing changing altitudes and the different models will be sold in booster packs.
Searching on FFG's forum I learned more: the miniatures are already on the market and there are gossips about a new WWII version of WOW.
