Word of Warships is a blow em up type of game. You are captain of a single ship of your team of 15 ships. Lots of options to outfit your ship, and if you can act as a team with the rest of your squadron, you should do well.
Keep the graphics settings on Low, and you should do fine with it. Its from the same people that brought us World of Tanks, which I still have a mild addiction to.
In both WoW and WoT the most fun for me is team play. Was in a clan for a while, top 100 in fact, but like most of those clans, it broke up and I ran out of time anyways. Nothing like an organized rush of Heavy and Medium tanks with a good caller on TeamSpeak.

Being over 150 hours into the game, “Naval Action,” I can tell you it is the best game I have ever played; and I have played a few in my 14 years in Entertainment Software.
The game is realistic and many-faceted:
The game has the Battles - each player controls one Ship in real-time, tactical battles; which can be one-on-one or thousands-on-thousands, if enough players show up! Beautiful graphics and great physics; this part is portrayed well in MANY YouTube postings.
There is also a player controlled economy - many Resources are available to buy, trade, sell, transport and use to build Ships and other Materials.
