Just reviewed the Blue Max Rules as posted here on YouPlay.it.
According to these rules, the damage chit selection process stated therein seems to imply that that the damage chits inflicted on one plane during one turn should not be drawn until ALL of the planes shooting at that one particular plane have determined their damage results.
For example, three planes are shooting at the same opponent. The first plane scores a BB, the second plane scores a BR and the third plane scores a BRRR. According to the text of the Blue Max rules, it is reasonable to assume that the damage chit selection process would entail grouping all three of those bursts together as if they had all come from the same plane and then resolving the damage chit selection process as outlined in my earlier posting.
In this example, the pilot who received the damage would select four B's and then, without returning the four B's to the counter mix, would draw the four R's.
Thoughts?
