| Message text this is a mini report of our small tournament:
we are seven players,
there are 107 games scheduled, all games are 2 vs 2 and in all possible variations using the best balanced 2 vs 2 available suggested scenarios ; everyone plays with everyone in team, once against all possible couple of opponents
we adopt a simple way to calculate points gained by each player in each game:
3 pts for your team victory, zero if you are in the losing side, +1 for each kill you get, -1 if you are shot down, -2 if your leave the arena NOT honorably;
a game master sets all games giving us a few new games every three or four days (tipically each of us have about 5 games running at the same time)
the 2/2 format allows to everyone the pleasure to try different tactis with always different comrade/adversary(ies) in fast and fun games;
it's a format that works well and fits our expectations;
the league table is costantly updated;
about 30% of the games scheduled have been already played in less than two weeks;
We suggest to try this formula, it baypasses the problems with the default rules, where your worst adversaries are your friends and you have no reason to hope they kill the planes of the enemy side. |
